NBA Odds: Bucks-Hornets Prediction, Odds, Picks & More

We’ll see this great Eastern Conference clash between two elite teams in the playoffs. It’s time to continue our NBA odds streak with a Bucks-Hornets prediction and pick.

The Milwaukee Bucks just picked up a win over the Brooklyn Nets last night. Antetokounmpo came back for the Bucks and scored 31 points in the win, Bobby Portis contributing with 25. Khris Middleton scored 20 for himself and the Bucks dealt with the Irving-less Nets. The Bucks and Nets are now tied in the Eastern Conference standings and 2.5 games behind the Chicago Bulls for the lead. Milwaukee is 18-11 against the East this year and will look for second place with a win over the Charlotte Hornets.

The Hornets started out hot but are starting to slow down lately. They are 20-19, which is good for 8th place in the East. The Hornets come off a resounding victory over the Detroit Pistons 140-111 in the final game. The good news is that they are in good health and can compete with any team in the NBA. LaMelo Ball is averaging 19.3 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists on the year. He’s leading this young Hornets team to new heights and will likely make the playoffs. The last time these two teams met, the Bucks won 127-125. It should be an exciting game to watch again.

Why dollars could cover the spread

The Bucks are clearly one of the best teams in the NBA this season, as the defending champions. They are also very good on the road and are looking to win five games in a row. The Bucks are 7-3 in their last 10 games and move up the East standings. If it hadn’t been for the Chicago Bulls’ winning streak, the Bucks would have had the opportunity to have the best record in the East tonight. Milwaukee is struggling with injuries and players on the covid-19 roster, but they’re still getting the job done. Even though the Bucks are dominant, they’re only 18-22 ATS. They come in as underdogs which should give them a better chance to cover. This game went on the wire the last time they faced each other, so I have a feeling it will be a similar outcome.

Why hornets might cover the spread

The Hornets are 23-16 ATS this year. This is a good sign for bettors as they continue to hedge at a high rate. The Hornets have won three of their last five games and are hoping to get revenge on the Bucks on Saturday night. If they want to cover that gap, they should find a way to win this game by at least one basket. They are favorites at home against the defending champions. It is not an easy thing to accomplish. Ball and company will have to defend Antetokounmpo and make sure he doesn’t get offensive rebounds. He’s clearly a force in the paint and that has to be the Hornets’ top priority. Force him to shoot the ball. The Bucks will be without Jrue Holiday and Donte DiVincenzo, which gives the Hornets a better chance.

Bucks-Hornets final prediction and selection

I love the Bucks on the road in this one. They get +2 points so I think they’ll find a way to win this game and cover the gap. The Hornets are threatening to win and I think it will be a close game.
